ToT3 of HENAR’s Health Professions Education (HPE) Program launched at the University Hospital Complex “Muratsan”.
As part of HENAR’s HPE Program, our students who recently returned from Boston University have entered the next stage of their learning journey—putting their HPE knowledge and skills into practice through clinical teaching and faculty development.
The HENAR and Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine teams visited the Infectious Diseases Department, where they were welcomed by Boston University HPE Program graduates Dr. Hripsime Apresyan, lecturer at the YSMU Department of Infectious Diseases, and Dr. Suren Brutyan, assistant lecturer at the same department.
The visit included a discussion with faculty and residents, followed by a clinical teaching and observation session. Residents assessed patients while faculty observed their clinical encounters, with the HENAR and BU teams observing the teaching and learning process.
The visit concluded with a debriefing to reflect on the experience and discuss effective clinical teaching, learner engagement, and structured feedback.
