The clinical diagnostic laboratory is one of the most important departments in the “Muratsan” hospital complex. Experienced and competent professionals work in the laboratory. They have been able to maintain the good traditions and reputation of the lab, the guarantee of which is not only to have the best equipment, but also to carry out all the research diligently.
The laboratory is equipped with advanced and modern diagnostic devices, which allows for accurate research in a short period of time, as well as a number of research that is currently unique in diagnostics.
Recently, the demand for toxicological laboratory diagnosis has increased. In order to make it more accurate and complete, new lab tests are being introduced in the laboratory. These studies are usually accompanied by an urgent indication, for which there is a need for strip-tests.

Biochemical laboratory

Is equipped with Cobas Integra 400/400 +, Microlab 300, START 4, STAT FAX, COBAS 232 devices, which provide the following research:

• substrates
• enzymes
• lipid exchange
• coagulography
• electrolytes
• cardiomarkers
• drug monitoring

Immunohematological Laboratory

Is equipped with Elecsys 2010, STAT FAX devices, which provide the following research:

• diabetes monitoring
• thyroid hormones
• adrenal glands function diagnosis
• recovery function disorder diagnosis
• acute phase proteins
• diagnosis of infections
• diagnosis of anemia

Biological materials and liquids are studied in the laboratory. The presence of skilled professionals and modern equipment allows for a short time to diagnose the disease, thereby contributing to the right and quick orientation of the physician and the proper treatment.

General Clinical Laboratory

Is equipped with Sysmex XS 1000i, Urysis 1100 devices, which provide the following research:

• General blood test
• CBC + DIF
• CBC + DIF + Ret
• spinal fluid examination
• cytological examination of various biological fluids
• parasites diagnosis and coprology, as well as hidden blood test
• cytological examination of various biological materials
• general and qualitative examination of urine
• tests for kidney function determination

The Sysmex XS 1000i analyzer, the only one in the region, allows you to have a blood test for a few minutes, differentiate the leukocytes, count the amount of reticulocytes.

Serological Laboratory

Isoserological and serological tests of blood are performed:

• blood group determination
• blood-rhesus factor determination
• hepatitis
• brucellosis
• Wright-Hedelson’s reaction
• uterine infections
• lambla – quantitative test
• herpes
• tuberculosis
• HIV

Bacteriological Laboratory

The following research is performed:

• blood sterility determination
• dysbacteriosis,
• staphylococcus determination
• microbiological examination of excretion
• microbial examinations of scraps,
• Rota-Adeno virus
• straptococcus “A”
• yersenia
• mycoplasma, ureaplasma
• pneumococci differentiation test

Express Laboratory

Is equipped with ABL-330, Cobas 121, OSM-3 analyzer, allowing for a shorter period of time to perform the following research:

• blood acidic-basic balance:
• gas balance
• electrolyte balance

A few minutes are required to obtain viable essentials (hemoglobin, leukocyte, creatinin, urea, bilirubin, glucose, etc.).

Cooperation

The laboratory cooperates with a number of specialists in the RA and many NKR hospitals, as well as a number of departments and clinics of YSMU, participate in scientific work of the departments.

The laboratory works 24 hours every day.
